Alembicis, LLC, provides specialized geoeconomic strategy and commercial diplomacy advisory services to public and private clients on new, emerging and complex cross-border trade and investment matters, particularly where the nexus of economic policy, geopolitical risk and fast-moving technological innovation intersect.  Often, the risks themselves may well create strategic opportunities—invisible to most—but discernible to the few.

Our work, at its core, is 'strategy', to craft bespoke, but feasibly actionable solutions, to help clients unlock the full potential of a given unique opportunity (or to help exit from a situation that has become complicated).  Like our namesake, Alembicis, LLC's principals innovate case-specific ways of more effectively separating the potential risks of an endeavor from the target returns, working with both governments and the private sector as necessary to reduce frictions and obstacles impeding progress.

All the firm's principals have C-suite executive management and/or cabinet-level policymaking and legislative experience.  All the firm's members each bring over 25 years of blended international expertise across corporate strategy and global crisis management, economic policymaking, trade and investment negotiations and global diplomatic experience (including both Track I and Track II political, economic and international security diplomacy), as well as an elite network of key relationships and a range of complementary technical competences to help navigate their clients through often new and entirely uncharted paths.

Unconventionally, and to maintain the highest quality of service and attention to our clients, Alembicis, LLC does not solicit new business.  The principals are fully retained on a long-term basis by our core clients; it is only by referral via an existing client that Alembicis, LLC may evaluate potential new engagements.
